An empty printer cartridge and used cellular phone cash reward program for the schools*
sponsored by Intrade Corporation

Hawaii schools need support! Hawaii landfills need space!

Kid Ink
is here to help!

When it comes to the environment, education is a natural

... and that is why KID INK™, a printer cartridge and cell phone collection program, was developed by Intrade Corporation specifically for schools as a program that promotes environmental awareness at the grass roots level - in the classroom and the community!

In collaboration with the schools, Intrade provides support infrastructure and financial incentives for the collection of empty printer cartridges and used cell phones. Together, everyone benefits – students, schools, community, and the environment!

Best of all, the KID INK™ program costs the school … nothing!

To participate, simply call Intrade at 847-5300 and tell them you want to sign up for the KID INK™ program. All that is needed is a person who is willing to serve as a point of contact for the program. Intrade will provide all necessary support and guidance.

Here is how the KID INK™ program works:

Intrade's part:

  • Intrade will provide each participating school a package of support materials, including model flyers, letters, and newsletter articles. Collection boxes are also available if the school wants them (free!).
  • Intrade collects and calculates the value of the collected cartridges and phones, and sends the school a check, usually within 30 days of receipt. Cartridge values change all the time, but Intrade guarantees the school will receive its best pricing available at the time of collection!
  • Cartridges or phones do not have to be turned in to the school – Intrade will pick up from any location on Oahu. Just make sure the donor tells Intrade to credit your school!

The school's part:

  • The schools distribute Kid Ink program information any way they deem best – take home flyers, posters, newsletters, mailing inserts, etc..
  • Cartridges and phones returned to the school are placed in a collection box or designated area to await pickup – there is NO sorting or repackaging needed by the schools, students, or anyone else – boxes, bags, loose, it's all okay (just don't break them, please).
  • When the school decides they have enough cartridges or phones, Intrade picks them up (for free!). You can set a regular pickup schedule, or call when you are ready. Minimum pickup quantity? One!

Call 847-5300 now, and sign up for the KID INK#153; program today!

Mahalo!

* Please note: Outer Island schools are being added as soon as logistics are worked out for each island. Mahalo for your patience.
